Characteristic

The perfect Grinder, thanks to which you immediately have freshly crushed pepper or salt at hand, or even two types of unique Kampot pepper.

In no time, you can set off a burst of incredible flavors and aromas of pepper in your kitchen, which is part of Package.

The set includes our double Grinder and two basic types of Kampot pepper. Grinder combines high‐quality materials, practicality, and clever design. Its biggest feature is its construction, which includes two chambers and two grinding mechanisms. It can thus be filled with two types of Kampot pepper – that is, both pepper and salt from Kampot – making it a very practical tool for cooking or seasoning dishes right at the table.

This pepper mill is 23 centimeters tall and fits perfectly in the hand. For maximum practicality, each end is equipped with a special cap to always keep the pepper fresh and prevent any impurities from getting in.

This set also includes two 20g portions of Package of various types of Kampot pepper of your choice. You can choose between black, red, and white. They differ in both flavor and aroma – qualities scarcely found in pepper purchased at ordinary supermarkets.

Black pepper When ground, it releases notes of eucalyptus, camphor, and thyme accompanied by the scent of lime peels. These gradually evolve into a maritime aroma with developing fruity tones. The dominant notes are those of peach and nectarine, complemented by hints of pine and earthier tones of Cambodian mountain soil rich in minerals.

Rare red pepper It is an explosion of fruity tones with a milder spiciness. Initially, notes of rose and rosehip dominate, which later transition into dried cherries. After two to three minutes, more distinctive aromas for Kampot pepper begin to develop, such as citrus fruits, dried tangerines, and a more earthy sourdough bread crust.

White pepper It is a gentle yet persistently peppery caress for your taste buds. When ground, aromas of camphor, sage, and cedarwood unfold, accompanied by a delicate scent of nutmeg flower, grapefruit, and other citrus fruits. After a few minutes in the mouth, you can detect tones of nutmeg, thyme flower, and lemon balm underpinned by the aroma of cedar and black tea.

Grinding mechanism

Inside the grinder, there are exactly two CeraCut® ceramic mechanisms.

This is a technology developed in Germany that guarantees that both pepper and salt will always be crushed with absolute perfection. The coarseness of the grind can be adjusted on each grinder, with the mechanism being capable of crushing peppercorns or salt crystals as large as 5 millimeters.

Maintenance

By adjusting the coarseness of the pepper grind, you influence its flavor profile.

The smaller the fragments, the sharper the pepper's taste will be. On the other hand, larger fragments impart more of the distinctive exotic notes of Kampot pepper to the dish.

When filling the grinder, never use your bare hands, but pour the restless little pellets directly from the package into the chamber, and use a spoon or funnel to help yourself. At the same time, don’t forget your Grinder to clean regularly. However, never use water or chemical preparations for this. A cloth is enough, a brush, and a drop of olive oil. Always keep Grinder away from the sink and handle it carefully when operating over steam.

Materials

For the production of this grinder, we used promotional wood with an impeccable pattern that will become an ornament for every kitchen counter or dining table.

For this reason, we left the wood in its natural color and only treated it with a protective lacquer. We combined the wood with stainless steel, ensuring the grinder’s extreme durability that, when properly cared for, will last forever.
