Kampot pepper is grown in Kampot province, located in the very south of East Asian Cambodia.

This is an area where, thanks to its maritime climate and geological conditions, the local farmers are able to produce pepper of the very highest quality in the world. Not without reason, this pepper has earned a protected geographical indication, similar to French champagne.
We purchase pepper from small family farms under direct trade conditions that guarantee a fair reward for every grower, and we strive to promote this approach among other traders as well.
As a result, by purchasing from us you not only obtain the highest quality pepper but also the assurance that you are buying a sustainable and ethically responsible product, which helps to provide its producers with medical care and education for their children

Characteristic

It is delicate and fragile; when bitten into, it unleashes a perfect harmony of exotic flavors in your mouth.

It differs significantly from classic dried pepper. Green pepper offers Intense pepper flavor, which is gradually accompanied by notes of citrus and conifers, mutually intertwined with floral notes.

Processing

We pack this delicacy of the highest quality directly in Cambodia.

It is added to the green peppercorns a pinch of salt flower obtained by evaporating seawater. The salt preserves the fresh pepper and thus guarantees its absolute freshness. Thanks to this processing, the grains retain the taste of delicate green pepper just picked from the pepper vine.

Thanks to the careful selection corresponding to the strict requirements for the quality of the pepper balanced from Kampot, set by the Kampot Pepper Association, only the best grains are hand-selected every time. They are then vacuum-packed to ensure that preserved quality and freshness during the journey to the Czech Republic, where they are further selected, packed, and delivered right to your table.

Usage

The green pepper will be loved for its mildness, especially by enthusiasts of vegetarian cuisine.

Try combining its perfect flavor with dark meat, sauces, risotto or morning eggs. Soft green grains also go well with pasta, casseroles, and soups. It also pairs very well with delicate cheeses, to which it provides a sharper accompaniment.

This pepper should not be crushed in a grinder due to clogging of the grinding mechanism. If you do want to break its top skin, use a mortar.

Package

We are still packing pepper in Cambodia into bags with capacities of 40 and 100 grams.

Thanks to these bags, the peppercorns retain the authentic flavor and aroma of fresh Kampot pepper. In this edition, it is additionally stored in luxurious sealed envelopes made from extract paper. Used coffee cups are used for its production.
