Kampot pepper is grown in the Kampot province located in the far south of Southeast Asian Cambodia.

It is an area that, thanks to its coastal climate and geological conditions, allows local farmers to produce pepper of the highest quality in the world. It is not for nothing that this pepper has received a protected geographical indication, similar to French champagne.
We purchase pepper from small family farms under direct trade conditions, which guarantee a fair reward for every grower, and we strive to promote this approach among other traders as well.

Characteristic

The rare dark red Kampot pepper unleashes an explosion of fruity tones in the mouth accompanied by a milder spiciness.

Dark red peppercorns initially release fragrant tones of blood oranges, cranberries, and elderberry, underlined by characteristic notes of cedar and lemon balm with a subtle hint of tobacco leaves. After a while, the heart of the dark red pepper begins to emerge, reminiscent of yeast dough, new spices along with roasted malt.It is a very dense fragrance that gradually transitions into black Assam tea, and in the end, cedar tones are again manifested in it.
